The Apex for Youth Associate Board invites you to our 9th Annual Aces for Apex Casino Night. Get decked out and join us for our largest event yet! Try your luck at exhilarating casino games or our High Roller Poker Tournament with a chance to win exciting raffle prizes, all while you enjoy an open bar with light hors d’oeuvres! The museum will be open for your enjoyment, so you’ll be able to take in the Himalayan art. Tag your photos with #ACESFORAPEX! FAQs

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Black tie evening attire (suits in lieu of tuxedos are ok). No jeans, sneakers or t-shirts, please.

Q: Will there be food?

A: Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Q: Will I be able to check out the museum?

A: The event will take place on the main floor and lower level of the museum; we will also have an additional floor open for viewing. Please note that no food or drink are allowed in the upper level galleries.

Q: Where can I buy tickets?

A: Advance purchases are only available online until Friday, November 10, or until we sell out.

Q: Are there a limited number of tickets?

A: Yes, we are strictly limited to the capacity of the venue. Tickets have sold out for past Casino Nights so purchase your tickets now. Discounted tickets will be limited.

Q: What casino games are available to play?

A: Blackjack, craps, roulette and Texas Hold’em poker will be available to all guests. Only Platinum ticket guests will be allowed entry into the High Roller Poker Tournament.

Q: What does my entry fee include?

A: All tickets include single admission to the event, open bar for the duration of the night and eligibility to compete for various raffle prizes. Platinum ticket guests will also be entered into the High Roller poker tournament for a separate prize.

Silver ticket holders will start with $500 worth in playing chips. Platinum ticket holders will start with $1,500 worth of playing chips.

Q: How are raffle tickets used? How many raffle tickets will I receive for chips?

A: 1 raffle ticket = $500 worth of playing chips (e.g., $525 = 1 raffle ticket; $1,100 = 2 raffle tickets). After you’ve played to your heart’s content, chips can be redeemed for tickets to enter into the raffle at the end of the night.

Q: What type of raffle prizes are available?

A: In the past, we have raffled off prizes including: a mattress from Casper, tickets to Sleep No More, classes with Manhattan Prep, Nets tickets, VIP tickets to the Daily Show, restaurant gift certificates and more!

Q: What is the High Roller Poker Tournament?

A: The High Roller poker tournament is a closed, tournament-style competition available to our VIPs who purchase Platinum tickets. Entrants will compete in No-Limit Texas Hold’em Poker for a separate prize. The first hand will be dealt at 8 p.m.

Q: As a High Roller, can I play at the other table games as well?

A: Yes, High Rollers will be given $1,500 worth of chips for play at the table games outside of the tournament and can enter the raffle for the raffle prizes as well.

Q: What are the prizes for the High Roller Poker Tournament?

A: Only High Rollers can compete for the tournament prize. First Place: Gift card for $1,000.

Q: Will I receive an order confirmation and do I need to print it?

A: Each guest will receive an e-mail confirmation upon purchase online.  A printed confirmation is recommended for fast and easy entry. One form of photo ID on the day of the event is required as well (the event is strictly 21+).

Q: Are tickets transferable to other guests?

A: No, tickets are not transferable to other guests.

Q: Is my ticket refundable?

A: No, tickets are not refundable. Only in the case of the event being cancelled will the full ticket amount be refunded.

Q: Is my ticket tax-deductible?

A: Yes, amounts in excess of $55 per ticket may be claimed as tax-deductible.
